2012 Lamborghini Aventador Launch India

German car maker, BMW has officially announced that they will be bringing the X3 to Indian shores by June 2011. BMW will import X3 in CKD units and will assemble the parts at their state of the art unit in Chennai.
BMW manufactures X3 on both E83 and F25 platforms. We are not sure which of the two will be launched in India. As E83 X3 production was stopped last year, we expect BMW to launch the F25 X3 variant.
Available in 6 speed manual and 8 speed automatic transmission, BMW X3 is available in both 2.0L 184 bhp I4 diesel engine and 3.0L 300 bhp Twin turbo I6 petrol option.
The automotive offerings that the company has on offer for the rather wealthy Indian customer could make anyone weak in the knees for each product is definitely a must-have for any automotive connoisseur.
Topping the list of cars to come in under the Interglobe umbrella is Koenigsegg. This Swedish super car manufacturer has been at the forefront of developing some rather exciting super cars over the past few years. Unveiled here in India, is the Koenigsegg Agera, which boasts of some serious speeds.

The car features a 5 litre V8 bi-turbo engine develops more 940 hp on 95 octane regular fuel. The Agera has over 1000 Nm of torque from 2500 rpm and 1100 nm from 3500 to 6000 rpm. Incidentally the engine is built by Koenigsegg themselves and weighs just 197 kilograms.
